What I Do
I get my students moving! Movement may strengthen your body, lighten your mood and enrich your life. KADC teaches technique-based dance classes to children and adults of all ages. Grounded in the foundations of various dance disciplines, my dance classes emphasize the importance of creativity and freedom of personal expression through movement while providing age-appropriate technique in each dance genre being explored. Participants may build confidence, enhance fine and gross motor skills, and improve coordination and balance while socializing and collaborating with others.
Kelsey Sadler
I’m a lover of dance, music, and people. Beginning at age 4, I danced in class, at home and, frequently, down the aisle at the supermarket! My training includes ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, modern, lyrical and contemporary dance styles at studios around the Richmond area.
I spent my high school years at Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for the Arts and Technology, where I majored in dance. I then went on to attend James Madison University, graduating with a bachelor of arts degree in dance. This is where I discovered my love for working with dancers in a setting familiar to them-not necessarily in a studio!
While unable to dance for a portion of my freshman year of college due to a foot injury, I instead took the most impactful course of my college career: Dance in the Community. This course shaped how I aim to provide my dance programming to my personal community: to everyone, for everyone, and with everyone.
For more than 10 years, I’ve enjoyed teaching many dance disciplines to children and adults of all ages. My students have been as young as 1-½ years old and as old as, well…forever young! I hope to be able to dance with you or your loved ones soon!

For students 2-5 years old. Creative movement focused on gross and fine motor skill improvement.
Homeschool Co-Ops
For students 5+ years of age. Styles in creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, pointe.
Adults
For those ages 18+. Styles in creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, pointe.
